This adjustment procedure must be performed prior to any service or diagnostic procedure. Without first adjusting vehicle's ride height and any service or diagnostic procedure is conducted, false readings and/or the replacement of satisfactory components will result. The rear suspension ride height D dimension is adjusted by moving the rear sensor arm ball stud, Fig. 6. There are three adjustment positions provided on the arm. Loosen the attaching nut and adjust up or down as required. A one position change to the sensor attachment point will yield approximately .354 inch change (upward or downward) to the D dimension.
