OWNER NOTIFICATION PROGRAM M66 TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS. CIRCULATE THEM TO YOUR PARTS AND SERVICE PERSONNEL. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO YOUR SERVICE ZONE MANAGER.
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS
Remove and replace the leather seat, headrest and cushion covers as a set.
SINCE THIS WORK IS NORMALLY PERFORMED AT A LOCAL TRIM-SHOP, PLEASE SEE "CLAIMS PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS".

CLAIMS PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS (A copy of these instructions should be placed in Subject 5.5 of your Warranty and Policy Manual).
^ Interior trim replacement provided under this program will be performed at no charge to owners through March, 1990.
^ Claim forms 1863 for this program must include standard claims preparation procedures and the information shown below. Program number M66 must be entered in the Program Code box in the upper left of the forms.

^ Since the service provided by this program is normally performed at a local trim-shop, please read and observe claim preparation information shown in the Warranty and Policy Manual, Subject 6.1, Page 17.
REFUNDS
Refund requests submitted under Owner Notification Program M66 are governed by the following guidelines:
^ Owners seeking refund for repairs covered by this program, which were performed at their expense prior to the receipt of the notification of this program must present their paid repair orders or invoices to any Lincoln-Mercury dealership by June 30, 1989.
^ A copy of the paid repair orders or parts purchase receipts must be retained in your service file for at least one year following the date of Company notification of payment.
^ Owner refund requests must be submitted on separate warranty claim forms 1863. In addition to the information shown for the special preparation of Owner Refund claims (Reference: Warranty and Policy Manual - Subject 6.1, Page 18), please enter the information shown below:

^ An administrative allowance of 0.2 hours will be allowed for processing each eligible owner refund request. To claim the allowance, enter ALLOW in the Labor Operation No. column and 0.2 in the Scheduled Time column. Extend the 0.2 hours at your authorized warranty labor rate and enter the result in the Amount column.
^ Please provide prompt refund to all eligible owners who respond to this program with proper repair documentation regardless of the source of the original repair (your dealership, another Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealership, or a repair location other than a Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealership).
