The manual transmission calibration for the 1986 Merkur XR4Ti will not display invalid fault codes 26
(engine run) and 67 (key-on, engine-off) during an EEC IV self-test that the 1985 Merkur XR4Ti manual transmission (505R-R10) calibration did. Therefore, the only VIP/STP test output code which is acceptable for all 1986 production Merkur vehicles is code 11 (system pass) for both engine running and key-on, engine off test.
