INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - PRINTED CIRCUIT SERVICE APPLICATIONS - SERVICE TIPS

ISSUE: The current printed circuit that includes an integral resistor for the alternator warning lamp circuit is used on 1988 XR4Ti instrument clusters. This printed circuit can be used to service all XR4Ti units produced after 8/12/85. 1985 XR4Ti units produced on or before 8/12/85 must be serviced with the fuel gauge anti-slosh kit that contains a new printed circuit.

ACTION: If service is required, refer to the following printed circuit application chart for the correct part application based on the vehicle production date.
