FORD 1986 THUNDERBIRD, TAURUS

LINCOLN-MERCURY 1986 COUGAR, SABLE, MARK VII

During windshield wiper operation, an objectionable metal to metal noise may be heard on the driver's side of the vehicle. The noise may be caused by a space or gap between the plastic (rub) spacer on the wiper's linkage and wiper arm, resulting in the pivot mounting end of the linkage hitting the arm head.
