ISSUE: The AXOD transaxle may have extended up-shifts or show signs of premature wear of the oil pump shaft journal and bearing. This condition occurs if the oil pump and valve body are not properly aligned when re-assembled during the overhaul operation.

ACTION: When re-assembling the valve body and pump body use guide pins to assure proper alignment. These pins are contained in the Rotunda AXOD Transaxle Essential Tool Set, T86P-70000-S.
