ISSUE:
The forward clutch piston may crack on its outside diameter, seal groove or apply wall (bottom of piston). This condition could allow internal clutch leakage resulting in engagement concerns.





ACTION:
Use the chart for proper application if replacement of the forward clutch piston is necessary.

NOTE:
PREVIOUS TSB ARTICLES 91-5-7, 92-1-4, 92-26A-6 AND 93-9-11 SHOULD NOT BE USED DUE TO REVISED PARTS LISTED IN THIS ISSUE.

Use a magnet to verify the forward clutch piston being installed is the new steel piston. The magnet will adhere to the steel piston and not to the aluminum piston.

Do not use any service stock of aluminum forward clutch pistons. Return stock to parts depot for credit.
