To avoid poor fit and appearance problems when attaching the dealer-installed license plate bracket on the front fascia and bumper, use the following procedure:

1. Locate the 3 mm dimples in the front fascia.

2. Prick punch each dimple.

3. Use a 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) combined drill and countersink to drill the holes in the fascia and bumper assembly.

NOTE: This type of drill bit will help to prevent the hole from being drilled out of the proper location causing poor fit and appearance.
