4. Engine Exchange A complete engine assembly will be forwarded to your dealership on a no-charge basis. The Service Manager will be the addressee, and is responsible for the return of the removed assembly to the Cleveland Engine Plant, or to hold the engine assembly for Ford Parts and Service disposition. These instructions will be indicated on the prior work approval Form 176-052 that will be mailed to your dealership.

If the engine is not received in a timely manner, dealer inquiries should first be directed to the engine plant contact. If the problem cannot be readily resolved, dealers should contact their FPSD District Office for follow-up with the coordinator in Dearborn to obtain immediate resolution.
