ISSUE: A disconnected PCV valve hose may be caused by the crankcase ventilation hose connectors expanding and coming loose.

ACTION: To correct this, install new crankcase ventilation hose connectors that are made of a more fuel and oil resistant material. Refer to the following service procedure.

1. Check the crankcase ventilation hose connectors for signs of swelling, bulging or expansion.

2. If swelling, bulging or expansion is present, install new crankcase ventilation hose connectors, E7AZ-6A614-A.
