Soft Shifts - Delayed Engagements




If you have an AXOD with soft shifts or delayed engagements you'll want to check it for low line pressure. If its low go to the valve body & check the pressure regulator valve spring seat. Make sure the spring seat faces the springs (figure 1). The spring seat is opposite most Ford transmissions e.g. C-4, C-6, AOD.
