1. Remove Snow Shield. Disconnect accelerator cable from the Secondary Throttle Lever Assembly (Item 3).
2. Remove and discard the existing Throttle Return Spring (Item 9).
3. Remove the Throttle Control Rod (Item 7).
4. Remove External Retaining Ring (Item 8) and Secondary Throttle Lever Assembly (Item 3) including the plastic hub bushing from Throttle Body Hub Pin.
5. Discard the removed parts.
6. Using 330 emery cloth, remove corrosion from the Throttle Body Hub Pin. Polish the Hub Pin until the Stainless Steel Sleeve (Item 2) can be slipped on. Wipe Hub Pin surface clean.
7. Install new Nylon Flat Washer (Item 1) and apply the Anti-Seize Compound (Item 10) completely to the Hub Pin.
8. Install the Stainless Steel Sleeve (Item 2) over the Throttle Body Hub Pin.
9. Install the new Secondary Throttle Lever Assembly (Item 3) over the Stainless Steel Sleeve with the hub toward the throttle body casting.
10. Install new External Retaining Ring (Item 8) on Hub Pin.
11. Remove existing bushing (Item 4) on Primary Throttle Control Lever.
12. Install new Throttle Control Lever Bushing (Item 4).
13. Install new Throttle Control Rod (Item 7) with new Rod Attaching Washers (Item 5) and Lever Attaching Rings (Item 6).
14. Install new Throttle Return Spring (Item 9) and reconnect accelerator cable.
15. Wipe off excess compound.
16. Verify free linkage movement and return to idle position.
17. Reinstall snow shield.
18. Start engine and verify proper linkage operation.
19. Ensure all replaced parts are mutilated and scrapped.
