ISSUE: Front bumper guards that are difficult to install may be caused by a misalignment of the holes in the front bumper reinforcement to the holes in the front bumper bar.

ACTION: To correct this, the hole alignment can be obtained by using the following service procedure.

1. Prior to installing the front bumper guards, inspect the holes for proper alignment.

2. If mis-aligned, size the holes by reaming them to attain proper alignment.
