Cruise Control: Adjustments

1. Remove speed control actuator cable locking clip.
2. Push actuator cable through adjuster until a slight tension is felt.
3. Install cable locking clip and snap into place.




CLUTCH SWITCH, ADJUST
This adjustment is for vehicles equipped with man. trans. and cruise control.
1. Prop clutch pedal in full up position with pawl fully released from the sector.
2. Loosen clutch switch mounting screw.
3. Slide switch as necessary to establish a dimension of .030 inch between switch plunger cap and contacting switch housing, then tighten mounting screw.
4. Test drive vehicle to ensure cancellation of speed control when clutch pedal is depressed.

VACUUM DUMP VALVE
The vacuum dump valve is mounted on a movable mounting bracket. The valve should be adjusted so that it is closed when the brake pedal is not depressed and opens when the brake pedal is depressed.
