ISSUE: Various shifting concerns and repeat repairs can be caused by installing the wrong model year main control assemblies. Each main control is unique to a specific application and must be used as indicated.

ACTION: Refer to the following Service Main Control Application Chart for correct parts usage. The service identification tag identifying the transaxle model number is located on the converter housing.







NOTE: CURRENT MAIN CONTROLS DO NOT HAVE EXTERNAL PART NUMBER IDENTIFICATION. THE SERVICE IDENTIFICATION TAG IS THE ONLY METHOD FOR DETERMINING WHICH MAIN CONTROL WILL BE REQUIRED FOR SERVICE REPLACEMENT.
