Some service parts currently in dealer stock will require new latch and striker assemblies. Dealers are requested to replace the old latch and striker with the new latch and striker on the parts in dealer stock.

The latches removed from dealer parts inventory are to be returned to the Warranty Parts Return Center (WPRC) at the following address:

To avoid possible chargebacks for latches replaced in the dealership's parts inventory, return the removed latches as soon as possible.

Clearly mark the box containing the removed latch and striker with the safety recall number "92S47"

E6DZ-7411598-B, E6DZ-74105A90-B, E6DZ-74115A42-H,
E6DZ-74117A32-C, E6DZ-74117A32-G, E7DZ-74115A42-B, and
E7DZ-74115A42-C to your facing PDC using least expensive transportation.
- Complete separate FPS-340 claim for these parts.
- Indicate Reason "J" on claims.
- In Remarks Section, write "Returned per Safety Recall 92S47".

Limits
- Return must be received within 30 days from the date of this recall.
- Returns are restricted to the subject parts.
- Parts returned must have been purchased from FPSD in accordance with Policy and Procedure Bulletin 4000.

Credit
- Credit for parts and prepaid freight costs will be issued.
