PROBLEM:
An extended 1-2 shift at wide open throttle (WOT) may be caused by fluid leaking from worn sealing rings on the driven sprocket. This causes a loss of hydraulic pressure/capacity necessary to complete the 1-2 shift.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
Install the new design forward cylinder seals which are orange with green speckles (E6DZ-7D019-A) Whenever the transmission overhaul kit (E6DZ-7C391-A) or the soft seal kit (E6DZ-7153-A) is used, the orange seals provided in these kits should be thrown away and replaced with the new, orange-with-green-speckles seals.
