A/T - AXOD Valve Body Gasket Interchange

SUBJECT: FORD AXOD

The Ford AXOD Transmission has two separator plates against the valve body (one on each side).

Because of this there are a total of four valve body gaskets. Since the release of this transmission in 1986, each year has seen changes to every one of the four valve body gaskets involved, and the gaskets do not interchange.




For reference, the gaskets are color coded with a strip for identification. Illustrated are part numbers for these gaskets.
