OWNER NOTIFICATION B89 - 1990 LINCOLN TOWN CAR ONLY

We are currently in the process of testing some enhancements to the Lincoln Commitment process. With your assistance we would like to test an idea with the 1990 model Lincoln Town Car owners affected by the AOD transmission owner notification program B89.

A very limited number of the 1990 Lincoln Town Cars are affected by this recall - approximately 2,000 units nationally. We would like to test the concept of valet pickup and delivery of these units.

Basic Program - The Lincoln-Mercury Division will pay your dealership a $50 fee to provide valet pickup and delivery for any 1990 Lincoln Town Car covered by owner notification B89. A program claim form is attached. Additional claim forms are available by calling Program Headquarters, 1-800-635-2510.

Also, we have attached a listing of any eligible 1990 Lincoln Town
Cars that are part of owner notification program B89 delivered by your dealership. If you wish to participate, please contact these customers and offer the valet service for their Lincoln Town Car.

The valet service is in addition to the transportation assistance provided to 1990 Lincoln Town Car owners described in the dealer letter regarding owner notification B89. Ideally, you would want to combine the valet service and transportation assistance for all your 1990 Lincoln Town Car owners affected by B89.
