Removal
1. Raise vehicle on a hoist.
2. Grasp tensioner and pull forward to compress spring and lock.
3. Disconnect rear cable end from tensioner or intermediate/front cable at cable connector.
4. Remove cable snap-in retainer from frame bracket using a 13mm (1/2 inch) 12 point box end wrench to depress retaining prongs.
5. Disconnect rear cable end from caliper housing and remove cable from parking brake lever arm on caliper.
Installation
1. Route cable and secure cable end and conduit to caliper and frame bracket.
2. Connect cable end to tensioner or intermediate/front cable at cable connector.
3. Release tensioner.
4. Adjust cable tension as outlined and lower vehicle.
