Blower Motor Switch: Testing and Inspection

Heater System - Electrical Wiring Diagram And Continuity Test:

Check for continuity between connector terminals of the blower switch as shown on the wiring diagram.
1. Disconnect the wiring connector from the blower switch.
2. Connect one side of the self-powered test lamp to the #1 terminal (ground) of the blower switch.
3. Connect the other side of the self-powered test lamp to the #2 terminal, then do the same with #5 and #4 terminals.
4. Check terminal continuity at every lever position.
5. The lamp should go on for each connected pair of terminals.
6. There should be no continuity between the battery ground (-) terminal and the switch case.
