ISSUE: The brake proportioning/pressure control valve is not to be disassembled when servicing the valve for leakage, malfunction or any other condition. The valve must be replaced as a complete assembly.

ACTION: If the brake proportioning/pressure control valve requires service, replace the complete assembly. Refer to the appropriate model year Car Shop Manual, Section 12-01 for removal and installation details.
