Dealer Letter - Ford and Mercury

On March 9, Ross Roberts sent the letter regarding the AOD transmission owner notification program B89 on Lincoln Town Cars.

In this letter, we announced that the Lincoln-Mercury Division will pay your dealership a $50 fee to provide valet pickup and delivery for any 1990 Lincoln Town Car covered by Owner Notification B89.

This is the first time we have tested valet service in conjunction with an owner notification program. Based on discussions with dealers that have used this program, the valet service has enhanced customer satisfaction levels.

The date for submission of dealer claims has been revised to August 1, 1990, since many dealers have performed the service but not submitted the claims. We appreciate your cooperation in this test and, based on our market research, we believe it will contribute to increased Lincoln owner satisfaction and future loyalty.
