Cooling System: Service and Repair

1. Fill cooling system with equal parts of anti-freeze and water.
2. Fill expansion tank to the MAX. level indicator.
3. Install pressure cap to the first stop. Do not install cap completely.
4. Run engine at fast idle until thermostat opens, then turn engine off. Upper radiator hose should feel warm when thermostat opens.
5. Check fluid level in the expansion tank. Fill to the MAX. indicator as needed.
6. Install pressure cap completely.
