Brakes and Traction Control: Testing and Inspection
Inspect lining material for wear beyond service limits, uneven wear, cracks, scoring, gouges, and contamination from
brake fluid or grease. Inspect
wheel cylinders for signs of leakage. Inspect the anti-rattle and return springs for signs of heat damage, bends, or damage to coils, and loss of tension. Inspect
brake drum for scratches, scoring and out of round conditions.
