Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from stop lamp switch.
3. Remove nuts securing stop lamp switch to bracket, then remove stop lamp switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install. When installing stop lamp switch, adjust switch until brake pedal height is 8.62 to 8.82 inches, then tighten locknut.
