After completing front toe-in and front track adjustments, steering wheel should be centered, if not proceed as follows:
1. Using a grease pencil, place alignment marks on tie rod ends and tie rods.
2. Loosen tie rod end jam nuts, then remove clips securing boots to tie rods.
3. Rotate tie rods in equal amounts as indicated in Fig. 3. Refer to alignment marks made with grease pencil to ensure both tie rods are being rotated equal amounts.
4. After completing adjustment, torque jam nuts to 25.3 to 28.9 ft. lbs., then install boot to tie rod retaining clips.
