Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

The air charge temperature (ACT) sensor, is a thermistor. It is mounted inside the vane air flow meter and senses the intake air temperature. This information is sent to the ECA for use in calculating fuel injection amount.
