ISSUE: A "rattling" noise may be heard in the liftgate area while driving at low speeds in cold ambient temperatures around +40~ F (+4~ C). This is caused by the metal "dovetail" stops mounted on the liftgate and the rubber wedges on the rear floor pan.

ACTION: Rework the liftgate stops as shown in Figure 1. Bend the metal "dovetail" stops about 2 mm as shown.

NOTE: AFTER BENDING THE "DOVETAIL" STOPS, CUT OFF THE EXCESS MATERIAL. THE EXCESS MATERIAL IS SHOWN IN FIGURE 1 AND LABELED "BEFORE REWORK".
