Camshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation

Camshaft Sensor:

The Camshaft Sensor signal is used to synchronize the firing of the ignition coil in relation to the crankshaft, pistons and cylinder intake and exhaust valves. This enables the ignition module and the EEC-IV to control the amount of timing advance and timing of fuel injection.
