MANUAL LINKAGE ADJUST
1. With engine stopped and parking brake applied, place transmission selector lever in overdrive position and hold against overdrive stop by applying 3-5 lb weight to selector lever knob.

2. Loosen shift rod adjusting nut at point A.
3. Shift manual lever into overdrive position by moving lever all the way rearward, then forward two detents and torque adjusting nut to 12-18 ft lbs.
4. Remove weight from steering column selector lever knob.
5. Operate shift lever in all positions to ensure that manual lever at transmission is in full detent in all gear ranges, readjusting as necessary.
6. Check for proper operation of automatic transmission selector indicator.
