ISSUE:
The Instruction Sheet (I.S. # 6594) for the new design Transaxle Filter Kit (F4DZ-7A098-B) was inadvertently omitted from some of the kits.





ACTION:
When installing this newly designed filter, the reverse clutch tube support bracket must be replaced with the new reverse clutch tube support bracket from the kit. Refer to Figure 1. The newly designed filter does not require a bracket to hold it in place, but the reverse clutch tube still needs to be supported. The new bracket will support the reverse clutch tube and will not interfere with the new filter.

For 1994 and beyond, the transaxle has the new design clutch tube support bracket installed. Therefore, it is not necessary to change the tube support bracket.
