Courtesy Lamp: Description and Operation

Current is supplied at all times through the 10A ROOM fuse to all of the Courtesy Lamps.

When either door is opened, the Courtesy Lamp Door Switch closes, allowing current to flow to illuminate the Dome Lamp (Hardtop only) and the LH and RH Footlamps.

When a Map Lamp Switch is activated, current flows to illuminate the corresponding Map Lamp (Hardtop only).

When the trunk lid is opened, the Luggage Compartment Lamp Switch closes, allowing current to flow to illuminate the Luggage Compartment Lamp.

When the glove box is opened, the Glove Box Switch closes, allowing current to flow to illuminate the Glove Box Lamp.
