Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Service and Repair

Radio Replace:

1. Disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove radio/heater control bezel.
4. Install radio removal tool No. T87P-19061-A or equivalent, Fig. 4.
5. Slide radio rearward to gain access.
6. Disconnect radio electrical connectors, then disconnect antenna.
7. Remove radio rear support attaching nut, then remove rear radio support.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
9. Reactivate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
