Mirrors: Description and Operation

When the Ignition Switch is in the ACCY or RUN position, current flows through the 15A CIGAR fuse to the Remote Control Mirror Switch Assembly. The Right and Left Power Mirror adjusted by a signal control switch. The Left-Right select switch, located next to the Control Switch, chooses the mirror to be adjusted. Each mirror is controlled by a remote Control Mirror Motor Assembly, which consists of two motors. One motor controls the left-right position of the mirror while the other motor controls the up-down position of the mirror. By moving the mirror controller, the selected mirror can be moved up or down and left or right by means of forward or reverse current flow through the Mirror Motor Assy.
