Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

With the Ignition Switch in RUN, battery voltage is applied to the Backup Lamp Switch (manual transmission) or Backup/Neutral Safety Switch (automatic transmission). Withe the vehicle in reverse, the switch applies battery voltage to the Backup Lamps.
