Emergency Release Buckle

In the event of a collision the shoulder belt retractor is designed to lock up in order to protect the occupants and may remain locked up after the accident. If this occurs, unbuckle the shoulder belt at the B-pillar by pressing the red emergency release button on the buckle for the occupant to exit the vehicle.

WARNING: AFTER A COLLISION, HAVE THE BELT SYSTEM INSPECTED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN TO VERIFY IT IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER.
