Shift Linkage: Adjustments

Transmission Shifter/Linkage Assembly:

1. Position the transmission selector lever in the OVERDRIVE position.
2. Raise the vehicle and loosen the shift cable to the cable bracket retaining nut. Move the transmission manual lever to the OVERDRIVE position, the third detent position from the full clockwise position.
3. With the transmission selector lever and manual lever in the OVERDRIVE position, tighten the retaining nut to 13-25 Nm (10-18 ft lb).
4. Check the operation of the transmission in each selector lever position.
