Vacuum Vent Valve: Adjustments

1. Holding brake pedal down, push dump valve forward through its adjustment collar, Fig. 54.
2. With a .05 inch (1.27mm) shim positioned on the surface of the adapter (9C962), pull brake pedal fully rearward.
3. Release brake pedal and remove shim.
4. Adapter should be in contact with white dump valve plunger and not in black dump valve housing. If adapter comes into contact with black dump valve housing, stoplamps could activate with temperature changes.
