Horn: Description and Operation

Voltage is present at the Horn Relay coil and contacts, at all times, through the HRN Fuse.

Pressing on the steering wheel horn pad closes the Horn Switch contacts, grounding the Horn Relay coil. The coil is energized and the Relay contacts close. Current flows through the HRN Fuse, the Horn Relay contacts and the Horns to ground. The Horns sound.
