Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair
1. On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag system as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Install radio removal tool No. T87P-19061-A or equivalent, to radio face plate, push tool inward about one inch to release radio clips. Do not push tool with excessive force or radio damage may result.
4. Apply light even force on tool, then pull radio from instrument panel.
5. Disconnect radio electrical connector and antenna lead.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
7. On models equipped with airbag, reactivate airbag system as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
