Liftgate Wiper
Wiper
With the Ignition Switch in ACC or RUN, voltage is applied to Fuse 6, the Liftgate Wiper/Washer Control and Liftgate Wiper Motor.
Closing the Wiper Switch applies voltage to the Liftgate Wiper Motor, causing it to run.
With the Park Switch in position 1, the Motor runs until it reaches the parked position. It then switches to position 2. The Motor stops immediately due to the Motor grounding through park switch 2 and the Wiper/Washer Switch.
Washer
When the Washer Switch is operated, voltage is applied to the Liftgate Washer Pump, which then pumps fluid onto the liftgate window. When the Washer Switch is closed, the Wiper Switch also closes, operating the wiper during the wash mode. The Washer Switch automatically opens, but the Wiper Switch us be turned off manually.
