Air Cleaner Housing: Description and Operation

Air Induction System:

The air cleaner assembly provides clean air to the throttle body. Outside air enters from an opening in the fender through the air cleaner inlet tube and then into the air cleaner assembly, where it is filtered through the air cleaner element. Air induction noise is effectively eliminated by means of a sealed and tuned resonator chamber located in the air cleaner assembly.
