This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to update the technical information and parts involved when replacing the Power Mirror Control Switch.

ISSUE:
Adjusting the power mirror may cause the No. 4 circuit fuse (15 amp) to blow on some vehicles. This occurs because of an internal electrical short within the switch.

ACTION:
Inspect the power control switch. If the switch checks "good" and the switch part number is listed in the chart do not replace the switch. When the switch is defective or is NOT listed in the chart, replace the switch. Refer to the Service Manual, Section 01-09, for service details.
