Vacuum Reservoirs:

PURPOSE
The Vacuum Reservoir temporarily stores vacuum until it is needed. This temporary vacuum storage helps to prevent rapid fluctuations and/or sudden drops in a vacuum signal line, as when an engine is under load or during acceleration.
