Turn Signals: Description and Operation
With the Ignition Switch in START or RUN, voltage is present at pin B of the Electronic Flasher through the METER Fuse, circuit 160 (BK/Y), the Multi-function Switch and circuit 361 (DG/Y).
Pivoting the multi-function lever downward closes the Left Turn contacts in the Multi-function Switch. Current now flows through the METER Fuse, circuit 160 (BK/Y), the Multi-function Switch, circuit 361 (DG/Y), the Electronic Flasher, the Multi-function Switch and circuit 364 (DG/BK) to the Left Turn Indicator and left turn signal bulbs.
The Electronic Flasher intermittently interrupts current flow to make all left turn signals flash.
Operation of the right turn signal is similar.
