Rear Suspension:

The rear suspension uses double-acting, oil filled shock/strut assemblies with straight wound coil springs. the rear wheels and brake drums/rotors are supported by a sealed roller bearing mounted on a spindle. A staked nut is used to retain the bearing and hub in position on the spindle. The staked nut cannot be reused.

Note: Rear lateral links base part No. 5A995 are available in a solid (left side) and adjustable (right side) type. Both types are interchangeable side-to-side. When replacement of the solid link is necessary, an adjustable link should be installed.
