Rear Shock/Strut Assembly Removal

Rear Shock / Strut Assembly Removal:

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the rear wheel.

3. Remove the clip securing the flexible brake hose to the rear shock/strut assembly.

4. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the rear shock/strut assembly to the rear wheel spindle assembly.

5. On hatchback and wagon models, remove the quarter lower trim panel.

Rear Shock / Strut Assembly Removal:

6. Remove the two mounting block nuts.

Rear Shock / Strut Assembly Removal:

7. Remove the rear shock/strut assembly from the vehicle.
