The weatherstrip on the rear doors at the top front and rear corners of the doors may be loose on some vehicles. This may result in a water leak and or windnoise. This condition may be caused by insufficient glue being applied to the weatherstrip during the manufacturing process.

ACTION:
Apply glue to the weatherstrip and reposition the weatherstrip in the proper location. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Ensure the weatherstrip is properly installed in the door channel.

2. Using a clean and slightly damp cloth, wipe the weatherstrip in the area where the glue is to be applied. Refer to Figure 1.

3. Apply glue (E8AZ-19554-A) to the door and position the weatherstrip in place. Do not close the door until the glue has had sufficient time to set. Follow the instructions on back of the package.
