(C) - Rear Brake "Squealing" - Vehicles Built Before 11/1/91

ISSUE:

Rear brake drum squeal may be caused by the brake friction material in the shoes.

ACTION:

Confirm the rear brake squeal. If squeal is evident, replace the rear brake shoes with a new level Rear Brake Shoe Set (F1CZ-2200-C). Refer to the 1991 Escort/Tracer Service Manual, Section 06-02, for service details.
